The visits to Bodegas Marques de Murrieta in Logrono and Lopez de Heredia in Haro were the highlights of our trip through the Rioja region of Spain. Their Reserva and Gran Reserva wines are available in states and present excellent value.
We have arrived! After stops in Barcelona, Bilbao, San Sébastian, Biarritz, Haro, Logrono, and visits to Cava and Rioja wineries, the family gathers to celebrate another wedding. 
A couple of days in Venice did not disappoint - it was just like the postcards.
Arrivederci a Cortina today we say goodbye to Cortina, site of 2026 winter Olympics, and the wine journey begins as we move south to Treviso for visits with Prosecco producers and Valpolicella estates.
