CRUSHER is one of several brands produced by Don Sebastiani & Sons, B Side and Aquinas are other recognizable brands. Sebastiani family has been making wine in Sonoma County since early 20th century though Don & Sons was started in 2001.
50% of grapes in Crusher Pinot are sourced from Clarksburg appellation, 60 miles east of Napa valley near Sacramento. The region receives little recognition because there are few wineries and 90% of grape production is sold to winemakers outside the region. Clarksburg has breezes from San Francisco Bay which create the ideal climate of warm days and cool evenings for Pinot Noir.

Clarksburg, California $12
Wine Enthusiast with “Best Buy” and 91 rating says “Fully ripe and rich, this mouth-filling wine oozes black plum and clove aromas, vibrant black cherry and coriander flavors and is bolstered by firm tannins and a full body. It’s big, bold and complex at the same time.”
