The end of an era comes after 33 wonderful years of raising three children who have flown the nest. And now their nests are within 1 mile of my new home – how lucky am I!
Something old…
We are finally moving on.. OK, it’s only 4 houses up the street but we are going to another town. It has been a long 9 months in my new General Contractor career which included renovations such as replacing slate roof, replacing plumbing and electric, converting heating system to hot water baseboard, installing central A/C, new kitchen, remodel 3 bathrooms as well as 200 SF addition.
Something new..
“Never say never” but my short-lived GC career is OVER – though the punch list is still LONGGG. I am anxious to resume my BTWG namesake (Bob the WineGuy) which includes building a temperature controlled wine cellar in the basement pub (it’s on the punch-list).
